Happy Easter and Passover my friends. We celebrate Easter at our home. I love Easter. I love the symbolism. I love the reasons we celebrate Easter. Springtime. A time of rebirth and new beginnings. A time to start anew. Celebrate.
We had a wonderful family time gift giving. David and I made gifts for family members. It is the first time we had done that. We made a warm blanket personalized for each person. I know I want to do it again next year.
Christmas is tomorrow......... Are you ready? Do you celebrate? What does the holiday mean to you?
Wishing you and yours Peace on Earth, a warm bed, enough food on your table, a family to love you, and a smile.

Since we are all still recovering from the Thanksgivings Day feast food hangover, I want to share our family walk post sitting down together at the table and sharing our Thanks.
We took the dogs, bikes, walking shoes, jackets and headed out into the rainy afternoon. It was so much fun. Great memories........
The whole gang and friends were here for Father's Day dinner last night. We had a full house, fun, great conversations and lots of love. Thank you gang!
I was out in the yard yesterday afternoon playing with the dogs. I realized that we have lived in our new home now one year next week. When we moved in, there was not much landscaping. We planted trees in our yard. They are growing big and beautiful in our garden. My family has a warm and safe home. We are free to tend our yards and families. We are living in a society that welcomes all of us, even if we are different. It is Memorial Weekend. Where would we be if the folk in the military were not here to protect us? Would our yard have these lovely trees to enjoy? What would our lives be like if we hadn't been defended by the members of our military? Take a moment to reflect and thank those that have served our country. Be gentle.
