William is Flying high!

William has discovered a new love.  He has always been fascinated with airplanes, history and how things work.  Now, he is enjoying learning to fly model airplanes.  The whole family went yesterday to watch and enjoy the fantastic weather out in the Sacramento Delta.

William is working hard and practicing with his simulator program.  He is researching and learning as much as he can all about model airplanes.  It is so wonderful to see him smile.

Mother's Day was awesome yesterday.  We drove to Reno and visited with my mom and oldest daughter. It was so wonderful to spend this special time with them.

Amy recently made her first major purchase, a new vehicle (new to her).  It is what I call a "testosterone truck".  Her brothers got a chance to see it for the first time yesterday.  Davey especially enjoyed the stereo and the thumping of the tunes listening to the music.  Amy loves her new sound system.  And everything about her new "mall cruiser".  Don't worry, she also kept her sensible vehicle, her Honda that she lovingly cares for too.

We got a croquet set from Grandma and Grandpa.  The boys decided to try it out on  the front lawn Friday night.

Fridays!

I love Fridays. I especially love Friday afternoons. I love spending time with the boys in the garden. I like watching baseball with the gang on Friday night. I know Saturday and Sunday is family time. Real family time.

And this Saturday, we have Special Olympics regional track meet. This is Davey's first year doing the track team. He will be throwing the shot put and running a 100m and 200m race. Can't wait. I will make sure to get the photos posted.

William asked me for a trip to Game Stop, so I guess that will be on the agenda this weekend too! Have you ever noticed how crazy crowded that place is? And so many parents with glazed over expressions on their faces. LOL, that is usually me.
