Orchard ladder makes great trellis
Love this idea. David's Dad gave us this suggestion for my jasmine that I planted in the front yard. I can't wait to see it grow and flower.

Feeding the family
We have a small family fruit orchard. It is one year old, so really not much of an orchard yet. Last evening, William and I planted the latest additions to our orchard. Well, William lasted for about 4 holes dug and disappeared back in the house to go play a video game. Strange how that works with almost 12 year old boys. It was a beautiful evening outside, so it was a perfect time enjoying planting our new fruit trees and newest additions of grapes (wine and table, yummy).
Be gentle.

Last smile of summer
Winter is finally trying to push summer out for the rest of the year. We are expecting rain (and snow a little higher up the hill) today. I had this beautiful flower in my yard. When winter weather gets you down, remember spring is just around the corner.
Summer smile.

After a long day at work
What is better than walking in the door after a crazy day at work and seeing my family? I will tell you. NOTHING!
David is first out to help me carry in my stuff. A hug and a kiss from the hubby makes it all worth while.
William will run out the front door and ask "How was your day?" Davey will usually run out and grab his basketball. He will call for me to watch him. He will try and make one of his "trick" shots and tell me, "Mom, this one is for you."
And then the chaos of the dog greetings. Settling down for the evening. Homework, laundry, dinner, dishes. None of that matters.
It is all about family.......
Have a great evening friends.
