Horses and kids

Davey has a wonderful Extended School Year program and teacher.(On a side note, hopefully the crazy California budget will not affect these programs that add so much to the education of our kids).   The class is continuing to work on educational needs of the kids so they do not lose any ground until the school year starts again. Davey is also learning new educational skills in math, reading and science.   But the best part for Davey is all of the "cool" stuff that they do everyday.  The class goes to movies, cooks, goes to the flea market, goes to the swimming pool and work with the horse therapy program.  What a great way to encourage the kids and let them participate in typical kid activities.  Davey loves going to school every day.  Yesterday was horse day.  Here he is with his new friend.
